AnswerSearch uses live generative AI to produce concise answers to user questions. AI-generated content can be useful, but it can also be wrong, incomplete, or inappropriate.
What to expect
- Answers may be generated by on-device AI if Apple Intelligence has been enabled, or by the AI provider you configure.
- If local AI is unavailable or cannot answer, AnswerSearch may send the question to your configured provider.
- Answers may rely on the model's knowledge and, when enabled, server-side web search results.
- Answers may contain mistakes or omit important context.
Use caution
AI-generated answers may contain mistakes. Verify important information.
Report problematic output
Please report AI output that is incorrect, harmful, unsafe, offensive, source-related, or otherwise problematic. Reports help us review issues and improve the product experience.
